A :
① Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the power button on the printer for 3 seconds to turn it on, and ensure that the printer is in normal working condition.
② Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Ensure that Bluetooth on your phone is turned on. If it is not, go to your phone’s settings and enable the Bluetooth function.
- Note: There is no need to manually pair the printer’s Bluetooth in the phone’s Bluetooth settings page.
③ Print a test page.
Double-click the power button to print a test page, which will display key information such as the QR code for the companion app, the Bluetooth ID, and the battery level.
④ Open the app and connect to the printer.
- Download and install the printer’s companion app (Fun Print). After opening the app, click the device connection button in the top right corner of the home page to enter the device connection page.
- The app will automatically search for nearby printer Bluetooth signals. Once the printer’s Bluetooth ID is detected, simply tap “Connect”.
⑤ Automatic Connection
- If the app has already connected to the printer before, the app will automatically connect to the printer when it is turned on and the phone’s Bluetooth is enabled, as soon as the app is opened.
- Wait for 1 to 3 seconds on the app’s home page to allow it to complete the automatic connection process.
⑥ Restart the phone.
- If the above methods still fail to connect to the printer, it is recommended to restart the phone and then open the app again to attempt the connection.
⑦ Other Precautions
- Check if the printer is in pairing mode: If the printer is not in pairing mode, it may cause connection failure. Depending on the printer model, you usually need to long-press the wireless button or a specific button on the printer to put it into pairing mode.
- Check the network environment: If the printer is connected via WiFi, ensure that both the phone and the printer are connected to the same WiFi network.
- Update the app and printer firmware: Ensure that both the printer app and the printer firmware are up to date to avoid connection issues caused by version incompatibility.
